Burney Collection features the newspapers and news pamphlets gathered by the Reverend Charles Burney (1757 - 1817). These were published mostly in London, however there are also some English provincial, Irish and Scottish papers, and a few examples from the American colonies, Europe and India.
Nichols Newspaper Collection is housed in the Bodleian Library with newspapers from this period, such as Applebee's Original Weekly Journal Athenian Mercury Flying Post or Postmaster London Gazette Mist's Weekly Journal and The Tatler.
