The State Library will work closely with organisations that wish to invest in literacy, education and heritage programs for the benefit of the community. In return partner organisations will enjoy brand association with a valued and highly respected cultural institution.
Partnerships are sought to support new and existing programs being managed by the State Library and can include financial or in-kind support through sponsorship.
A number of current State Library programs supported by valued partner organisations include:
- Better Beginnings family literacy program – supported by Rio Tinto
- The Ideas Box – supported by St John of God Subiaco
- Kay Poustie Scholarship – supported by Public Libraries WA
