Justice of the Peace
The Justice of the Peace (JP) signing centre is open Mondays from 11.00 am to 2.00 pm at the State Library - located on the Ground Floor in the Discovery Lounge.
Notice: The last Justice of the Peace service at the State Library will be on 16 December 2024. The service will recommence on 20 January 2025. Please see links below for alternative locations.
JPs are available to witness documents such as affidavits, statutory declarations, enduring powers of attorney/guardianship and to certify copies of original documents.
Justice of the Peace is a free community service and no bookings are required.
