Looking for a seminar or meeting room in the CBD at a reasonable price?
A five minute walk from Perth Train Station you will find the State Library of Western Australia. We have a range of meeting rooms with capacities ranging from 12 to 207 people.
At the top end is the State Library Lecture Theatre. This facility comes with built in audio visual (AV) equipment that is very simple to use – no need for expensive AV equipment or an AV technician. The Telecoil Hearing Loop (Audio induction Loop) 
is available in the Theatre.
Most of our meeting rooms offer good light, include electronic whiteboards, data projectors with built in projection screens and speakers, wifi and optional equipment such as flipchart stands and microphones. An HDMI cable is provided in each room (with the exception of the Goldfields Room).
Bookings & availability
Your access to the venue is strictly only for the duration of your booking (this needs to include your setup and packup times). Please book any required equipment when booking the venue.
The minimum booking duration is 2 hours. Bookings must be made 3 working days (Monday–Friday) in advance. If your submitted booking needs amendments, please email venues@slwa.wa.gov.au.

State Library of WA does not provide in-house catering for food and drink.
Ground+ Co Cafe is run by The Underground collaborative. Visit the Ground+ Co Cafe website to ask about catering.
