Printing, copying & scanning

Print, copy, and scan stations are available on all floors of the State Library except the Mezzanine.  

Printing and photocopying services are payable by cash or EFTPOS; however, if you plan to use these facilities regularly, you can add credit to your State Library membership card.

Please note, receipts are available and change is given, subject to availability.  The following are not accepted:  

5 cent coins 

50 cent coins 

$50 notes 

Printing

Printing is available from all State Library public access computers and personal mobile devices.   

For details on how to print from a mobile device, including options to email attachments directly to the printer, please refer to the Mobile Print Service page. 

 

Some materials cannot be copied using the photocopiers for preservation reasons. In these cases, photography may be an acceptable alternative. Please take care when photocopying State Library materials and ask staff for advice. 

Scanning to USB is free. Please note, scanning to email is not available. If you would like to scan a document but do not have a USB, please see Library staff for assistance. 

Credit may be added to your State Library membership card or guest card, via one of the print and copy credit kiosks. The print and copy credit kiosks accept EFTPOS and cash.
