Katharine Susannah Prichard (1883-1969), communist, feminist, social reformer and pacifist, one of Australia’s greatest novelists, wrote thirteen novels, short stories, plays and poetry.
Winged Seeds, first published in 1950, is the third and last novel in her stirring epic trilogy about the goldmines of Western Australia.
The two previous novels, The Roaring Nineties (1946) and Golden Miles (1948) are both published by Virago.
