Discover the stories that shaped WA—one short film at a time.
The State Library of Western Australia has partnered with Screenwest for the third season of WA Reflections, a short film series pairing emerging filmmakers with unique WA historical stories preserved in the State Library collection. The four documentary short films in the series shine a spotlight on lesser-known identities and events that have shaped the State’s history. The films explore rock 'n' roll masses, astronomical discoveries, guide dogs and a vaudevillian male impersonator.
Over the coming months, each short film will be screened, followed by a panel discussion and Q&A session featuring subject specialists and the creatives behind the films.
Tickets and more information coming soon.
