Snap Shot: WA Music Photography from the Archives is a digital display produced in partnership with WA Music that had its second iteration in March and April 2021 in the State Library’s Nook. Featuring images from the archives of the State Library, WAM and the personal collections of the state’s hardest working music photographers, this exciting visual journey captured everything from big bands in ballrooms to punks in dingy pubs.
Community and Engagement Officer for WA Music Adam Trainer spoke with Christine Layton about the State Library’s existing music photography collections, the process of adding to it and the exciting images included as part of this display.
