After 3 years of extensive planning, work will begin on 6 January 2025 to transform the Perth Cultural Centre precinct into an open, accessible and vibrant destination.
From this date, the main part of the precinct will be a live construction zone. All cultural organisations and businesses, including the State Library, will remain open during this time.
The map below shows pedestrian access throughout the precinct once construction fencing is put in place from early January 2025.
