Navigating a Man's World by Madigan Landry

Capt. Carol Dooley has been a trailblazer her entire working life, entering into several male dominated fields, often as the first woman to do so. This was long before anti-discrimination laws existed in Australia. She worked in mining in Port Hedland where there weren’t even female bathrooms. She moved to the maritime industry where she would go on to become the first ever female international ship master in WA. She has recently been inducted into the WA Women’s Hall of Fame.
