Barbara Darling became so fed up with Catholicism and the patriarchy in 1950s Melbourne that it landed her in the psych ward. After careful negotiation of her freedom, she hitchhiked herself as far away as possible - Perth. She got married, had three children and got so bored she just about went mad. Until she started running.
Strap in for Barbara's reflection on her life of activism, advocacy and uplifting others. And remember - life really can get better with age, and you never have to settle down.
