2025 Program Announcement

Experience a year of discovery at the State Library...

The State Library’s first half of 2025 line-up is now live with a packed program of exhibitions, talks and events celebrating Western Australia’s diverse stories and identity.

Encompassing key themes including Aboriginal stories, dynamic women and architecture and design, the program draws upon the State Library’s vast collections.

Three major exhibitions will launch in March: Hello, this is Sam Lovell (21 March – 27 July), On the Way to Nana’s (17 March – 27 July) and the WA Women’s Hall of Fame: Roll of Honour (6 March – 22 June).

In June, the doors will be thrown open for back-of-house tours and a look at Perth in the 1980s to mark the 40th anniversary of the Alexander Library Building.

Tickets are now available for exhibition launches, panel conversations and talks through to July.

Look out for more additions to the program throughout the year, including a literature, film and photography focus in the second half of 2025.
