No, Under State Government Directions people entering the State Library building do not have to be vaccinated against COVID-19. From 29 April 2022 you no longer need to provide proof of vaccination to dine in at the Ground+Co Cafe. - Can I borrow books and music scores?
Yes, you can request items for loan via a Library staff member. Anyone who joined the Library while we were closed from 23 March to 18 May 2020 will need to provide proof of address to loan items. - Are library materials safe?
It appears the risk of contamination from paper-based materials is low. - Are discussion/study rooms available?

Unsurprisingly, the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) has generated much discussion and the dissemination of unsubstantiated rumours and theories.
The State Library, like all libraries, prides itself on being a source of accurate information. This page on the Coronavirus (COVID-19) provides links to credible sources of information on the virus. Currently this information is the information provided by the World Health Organisation, and Australian and Western Australian government departments.
