The State Library of WA collects materials that reflect Western Australia’s historical and contemporary events, places and people. We collect photographs, documents, videos, and items such as posters, signs and flyers.
If you have something that you would like to donate to our collection please complete the form below. We’ll send you an email confirming if we will add your item to the collection.
For large files such as videos that exceed the upload limit, please contact email@example.com.
If your video is available on another platform (eg, YouTube) please put the link in the Other Comments section
By submitting material to this site that if selected for the State Library collection it will be made available under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0/).
This means that others would be free to share and adapt your material as long as they give appropriate credit to you, provide a link to the licence, and indicate if changes were made. The license does not permit others to use your images for commercial purposes.
The State Library reserves the right to decide not to select the material for the permanent collection.
