  1. Volunteers have visited cemeteries taking photographs of gravestones. You will find details of names and ages from the website and can request free copies of gravestone images. Coverage is best for the UK but also includes Australia, Canada, Cyprus, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Malta, New Zealand, Spain and the USA.

  3. Cemetery transcription site. Mostly U.S.A. but some cemeteries from other countries included. Requests input from community - but no statement of intent as to how information will be used in the future (i.e. will it remain a free site?). Includes location of cemetery and image of monument. Worth checking.

  4. This website aims to photograph over 1.75 million war graves and memorials from World War One onwards and is being done in collaboration with the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. High resolution copies of images can be ordered through the site.
