    The State Library is undergoing major changes. The Place, a dedicated space for children, families and education opened on the Mezzanine level in May 2009. The Discovery Lounge is almost ready to open on the Ground Floor in September 2009.

New Program June 2009: L Plates for new researchers

Prepare your students to be well equipped to be confident and informed researchers.

The one hour session covers;

  • How to obtain a Researcher's Ticket at the State Library
  • Handling rare and archival materials
  • Problems and practicalities of rare and archival material

This program is only available to students in years 11 onwards.
