Held annually in South Western Australia, the DFOV delivers a concert and workshop programme.

Fairbridge Festival of Folk/Roots Music
Annual three day festival of folk, roots, blues, acoustic, Celtic, a capella and world music held south of Perth near Pinjarra.

Fremantle Festival
Cultural festival held on Fremantle streets and in venues.

Future Music Festival
Held annually in central Perth for funk, future and dance music fans.

Good Vibrations Festival
National dance music festival featuring hip hop, breaks, electro, soul, house, funk and rare groove music with Perth gig.

Gymanfa Ganu
Annual hymn singing festival presented by the Welsh Free Church of WA. An opportunity for Welsh expatriates, descendants and the general public to experience some traditional Welsh music.

Harboursound Music Festival
Held in Albany with national and local music performances. Includes workshops in fiddle, voice, slide guitar and recorder.

Hyper Festival
An all-ages festival held in Midland, featuring punk, rock and hip hop, as well as market stalls, a skate park and art.

Joondalup Festival
Annual arts event with a significant music program.

Mowanjum Festival
Held in Derby annually, it is Western Australia's largest traditional corroboree, open to the public.

Nukara Music Festival
Annual blues, soul, rock, reggae, celtic, country and folk music festival held in the Chapman Valley, north-east of Geraldton.

Nanga Music Festival
A celebration of acoustic music with an emphasis on contemporary folk. Replaces the Araluen Folk Festival.

Nannup Music Festival
Annual folk and world music festival. Includes, poetry, dance and street theatre.

Perth International Arts Festival
Australia's oldest international arts festival covering all areas of artistic expression, including all genres of music and encouraging local performances and commissionings.

Pilbara Music Festival
Week-long festival held in Port Hedland culminating in a Finale Concert and encouraging children and their teachers to aspire to musical excellence.

Soundwave Festival
Nation-wide rock tour with a Perth date, showcasing both new and legendary artists.

Southbound Festival
WAMi award winning music, camping and arts festival held in Busselton. Local and national bands with DJs and percussionists.

Spring Song

St Jerome's Laneway Festival
A nation-wide street festival with a Perth gig. Held in the Perth Cultural Centre, it features a collection of bands as well as art installations, markets and cocktail bars.

Totally Huge New Music Festival
Biennial music festival held in Perth featuring new chamber music, electronica, installations, improvisation, radiophonics, multimedia and sound art from metropolitan and regional Western Australia.

V Festival
Rock festival featuring international artists, held on the Perth Esplanade.

Vintage Blues Music Festival
Non-stop 9 hour event at local winery in Albany, with 7 different performances.

WA Classical Guitar Ensemble Festival
In partnership with the WA Classical Guitar Society and the School of Instrumental Music, the Festival gives students performance opportunities as well as the chance to hear more experienced ensembles.

WAMi Festival
Annual rock and contemporary music festival held in February and culminating in the WAMi Awards.

Wardarnji Indigenous Cultural Celebration
Held as part of the Fremantle Festival, this event celebrates Aboriginal culture and the heritage of Fremantle through Nyoongar eyes.

Wave Rock Weekender
Annual environmentally sustainable event featuring blues, roots, rock, pop, art-rock, country music and more. Held over the September long weekend near Hyden in WAs south east.

West Coast Blues 'N' Roots Festival
Comprehensive line-up of international roots, rock, blues, jazz, folk, reggae, gospel and soul music held in Fremantle.

Western Australian Schools Jazz Festival
Run by the School of Instrumental Music in conjunction with the International Association for Jazz Education, the Festival aims to give school jazz ensembles a chance to perform in a prestigious venue.

York Jazz and Soul Festival
This new look and revitalised event is Western Australia's premiere jazz festival, held annually in the historic town of York and featuring local, national and international artists.
