Support the State Library
The State Library of Western Australia belongs to all, in particular those that call Western Australia home.
The Library values the support of the people of Western Australia, including companies and partner organisations as well as visitors to the State, who all contribute to collecting and telling the story of Western Australia and sharing it around the world.
We welcome your interest in being part of this story. You can support the State Library in many ways. Your support will help:
- Collect and showcase heritage collections of Western Australian significance;
- Deliver literacy programs to support those who are learning to read; and
- Encourage a love of learning, the joy of discovery and the telling of stories.
Come and visit the free exhibitions, workshops, live performances and family activities. Your presence adds to the vibrancy and value of the Library.
If you have enjoyed a visit, please show it with a small donation to the Donation Box. These donations will help the Library offer more events and activities for you and your family to experience.

Support Professional Development - Kay Poustie Scholarship

The Scholarship is named in honour of Kay Poustie OAM, former Chairman and Member of the Library Board of WA (1990-2009).
